G. Amphray Laboratories (widely known as ‘Amphray'), was established by Mr. Ramu S. Deora in early 1966. Driven by the vision to contribute towards improving the quality of life, Amphray took shape in a multi-purpose pharmaceutical bulk-drug factory in Bhiwandi (near Mumbai). Over the years the enterprise has grown into one of India's leading and most respected pharmaceutical manufacturers with a marked global reach as a:-

Manufacturer-exporter of GMP-compliant bulk drugs and drug intermediates catering to the
pharmaceutical, veterinary, food & feed additives, animal health and allied industries
Largest Producer of Iodine Derivatives/Compounds in India
Contract manufacturer, sourcing partner & distribution expert, so that customers can leverage
Amphray's distinct capabilities to achieve their business goals
Producer of superior quality pharmaceutical formulations especially Paracetamol &
Potasium Iodide Tablets/Caplets
Another milestone in Amphray's history is the distinction of being the first Indian pharmaceutical manufacturer to set up warehouse facilities outside India in Hamburg (Germany) in 1982, to facilitate availability of ready stock material and arrange prompt shipments of its products anywhere on the globe. Today Amphray exports more than a hundred products, produced by the company and its associate producers, to over 85 countries in the world.

As a family-owned enterprise, Amphray has an inherent value system that believes in nurturing customer relationships beyond the transaction. It is no wonder then that Amphray is the ‘preferred partner' and has built long-standing relationships with valued business associates for over four decades, on the strength of operational integrity, mutual trust and the enduring value of quality excellence.
